Career Coaching Workshop Series at the American Corner Pécs

Please join the American Corner for a Career Coaching workshop series! The series is geared toward high school students, college students, and young professionals who are trying to tailor application materials in English. The series will cover resumé/CV building, cover letter/letter of motivation writing, conquering interviews, and will conclude with personalized coaching on application materials.

Tuesday, Oct 12 16:30 - Cover Letter/ Letter of Interest Building
Crafting a compelling cover letter is an important step in landing an interview! In this session, we will discuss how to tailor your letter of interest to each employer/admissions officer and showcase your accomplishments.

Tuesday, Oct 19, 16:30 - Interviewing in English with Mock Interviews
In this session, we will practice one of the most important parts of the job-seeking process: interviews! We will also be practicing interviews through mock interviews!

Tuesday, Oct 26, 16:30 - Document Review Drop-In/Individualized Coaching
Bring your resumé/CV, letter of motivation, and questions about interviews or the job seeking process! During this informal drop-in session, you will get feedback on your application materials and you will learn more about the American/international job/university search process.

About the presenter:
Katy is an American Fulbrighter at the University of Pécs for the 2021/22 academic year. She recently graduated from Boston College with a Masters in Higher Education and a focus in International Higher Education. Katy has worked with university students at the University of Montana, the American University in Bulgaria, Boston College, and MIT.
